The Cedar Wood PTA is a non-profit organization of parents, teachers, staff and community members who work together to support Cedar Wood Elementary School in Bothell, WA. Established in the 1991-92 school year when Cedar Wood first opened, the CW PTA has been a strong partner with the school for almost 25 years.
We offer a variety of programs and activities that reflect our mission and goals of enhancing students’ education and engaging and empowering families to be an active part in the school community. We provide before- and after-school enrichment opportunities such as chess, foreign language, robotics, art, etc. We host many community-building family events such as school dances, fun nights, popsicle playdates for incoming Kindergarteners. We hold biannual book fairs which promote reading and support our library, as well as holiday giving programs for our local community. The PTA also organizes volunteers for classroom events, our art docent program and Kindness Club.
One-Stop Shopping Form
The PTA offers the One-Stop Shopping form as a way for parents to bundle several PTA sponsored programs as well as their PTA memberships into one form and have only one payment. The completed form can be sent in to your child's teacher or dropped off in the Cedar Wood Office. Please note that participation in the PTA is optional however it's one of the best ways to be involved in your child's school.
Cash or checks made out to Cedar Wood PTA are welcome. Forms must be submitted by September 30th.
Participate in Cedar Wood's only school PTA Fundraiser for the year. The funds from the Whale Walk covers
our PTA annual budget which provide grants to classroom teachers and
funding school events and programs such as Family Nights, Watch
DOGS, Art Docents and Assemblies. We couldn't do these without
